The International Stammtisch on 4 June will feature a presentation about the new European Central Bank headquarters building to be opened in 2013 in Frankfurt-East. The double towers will incorporate the landmark Grossmarkthalle into a new architectural ensemble, and will bring all ECB employees currently located in three buildings into one.

The 12th annual Newcomers Festival - Welcome to Frankfurt-Rhein-Main will be held this year on 21 October in Frankfurt's City Hall (Römer). Last year's festival attracted nearly 80 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors from many different nationalities. The Newcomers Festival consists of an extensive exhibition of services, clubs and organizations in the area. It is designed to be a family-oriented and informative event that allows the international community to discover the attractiveness and diversity of the region as a business location.
