American author Michael Scott Moore will be reading from his latest book "Sweetness and Blood" at this exclusive Frankfurt Book Fair special event. Moore, a former Fullbright scholar in Germany, is a novelist and journalist from California who lives in Berlin and currently works for Spiegel Online International. The reading will be hosted by the US Consulate in Frankfurt and will be moderated by Bernd Steinle of the FAZ. Tickets costs 7 euros and include a welcome drink.

Newcomers Festival - Event
The 10th annual Newcomers Festival - Welcome to Frankfurt-Rhein-Main will be held this year on 26 September in Frankfurt's City Hall (Römer). Last year's festival attracted nearly 100 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors from many different nationalities. The Newcomers Festival consists of an extensive exhibition of services, clubs and organizations in the area. It is designed to be a family-oriented and informative event that allows the international community to discover the attractiveness and diversity of the region as a business location.
