Sandra McCrea is an English speaking photographer, also speaking fluent German, who has lived in Frankfurt since 1976. She is keen to branch out and is available to photograph functions, parties, sporting events, concerts and theatrical events and weddings at reasonable rates on request.

Sandra has been photographically active since the early 1980s when she bought her first single-lens reflex camera. In 1983 she had her first exhibition at Rhein-Main Air Base comprising a series of nature photographs. In 2003 Sandra made the transition from analague to digital photography and has broadened her skills in this area. Her main area of interest is bird and wildlife photography, sports photography in particular equestrian events, local concerts and theatrical events, landscapes, cities and photographing people.

Two years ago she exhibited a selection of photos documenting a trip to the Shetland Islands in 2003 at the Commerzbank Bank in Frankfurt. She currently has a further exhibition running at the Commerzbank Bank, the theme of which is Winter in Frankfurt and surrounding area in 2005-2006. Sandra photographs and prints the photos herself, and also cuts her own matt boards for the picture frames.
