Chatterbox Playschool

Chatterbox Playschool is a private, bilingual preschool for children of any nationality between the ages of two and six. The school is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The school also organizes special activities during the summer months.

Chocolate Butterflies

This private, bilingual parent initiative welcomes children between the ages of three and six. The kindergarten is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. As a parent initiative, the kindergarten not only welcomes, but also relies on parental involvement. Depending on individual interests, each child’s parents are responsible for a certain task on the association’s board of management or on one of the committees.

Kinderhaus Laterne

Kinderhaus Laterne is a bilingual daycare and kindergarten. The daycare is open to children aged six months to three years and currently has about 36 children in three groups. The school operates from 6:40 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Fees range from about 200 euros to 550 euros per month. The kindergarten consists of two groups, each with about 25 pupils aged three to six. English, French and German are used on a daily basis in classrooms. School times are the same for the kindergarten, and tuition ranges from 100-400 euros per month.

Sparkling Diamonds

This bilingual kindergarten for children aged two to five opened its doors in September 2007. Currently, three teachers care for the needs of about 14 children. Parental involvement is expected but does not involve cooking and cleaning. Parents are also expected to help in the event that a teacher is ill or absent. The school is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Fees are 260 euros per month, with an organic, catered lunch costing an additional 70 euros per month. The annual membership fee for the organization is 25 euros.

Our Featured Event

The 2019 Newcomers Festival will be held on Sunday 8 Sept. at Frankfurt’s City Hall (Römer). This annual event attracts over 5,000 international visitors, up to 60 exhibitors (companies, clubs, organizations).
