Since May 2005, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) has offered a part-time Executive MBA program. The 12-month program is taught in both German and English and divided into 13 modules. Classes are offered in blocks of six to ten days and can be easily completed by students who are also working. With its over 140 international partner schools, TUM designs a new study-abroad program for its MBA participants each year (such as with the Tsinghua University in Beijing) and actively recruits international professors to lecture at its facilities. The TUM Executive MBA is part of communicate, a joint education program supported by the Bertelsmann Stiftung, Heinz Nixdorf Stiftung und Daimler-Fonds. Tuition is 32,000 euros and applications can be submitted year-round.
