US Election Debate & Discussion

We invite the international community in Frankfurt Rhein Main to join us for an After-work Party in the English Theatre. Each month, the International Stammtisch welcomes you to an informative, interesting and above all international evening. We will present the best the city has to offer, whether it's museums, culture, music, international clubs...There will be a cash bar & snacks for purchase, as well as a friendly atmosphere.

The International Stammtisch on 10 October features a debate and discussion about the US Presidential Elections. Representatives from the Democrats Abroad and Republicans Overseas will discuss some of the key political issues facing the United States in a moderated debate. The debate will be followed by a discussion of top level politicians on what the US elections mean for Germany and Europe. Here you can download a PDF flyer for the event.

We will start with a moderated debate between:

  • Thomas Leiser Republicans Overseas
  • Marjorie Sudrow, Democrats Abroad

Followed by a discussion with the following panelists:

  • Rüdiger Lentz, Aspen Institute Germany
  • Sudha David-Wilp, German Marshall Fund

Our moderators for the evening are:

  • Dr. Johannes Latsch, George Marshall Gesellschaft
  • Omid Nouripour, Member Of Parliament, Foreign Policy Speaker, Green Party

International Stammtisch is an initiative of the city of Frankfurt, the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce, the English Theatre, Frankfurt International School, ISF Internationale Schule Frankfurt-Rhein-Main, Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft RheinMain e.V. , the Regional Verband FrankfurtRheinMain and Newcomers-Network.de.
