Whisky Tasting at English Theatre

Connoisseurs around the world enjoy the traditional drink from Scotland and the number of followers is constantly growing. But not all whiskies are the same - the variations are countless. So what makes the taste? Is it a matter of production, age, the climate or the casks used for maturing? And why are angels in Scotland so happy?

The answers to your questions and six liquid examples will guide you on a whisky tasting journey through Scotland. We suggest you use public transport and prepare yourself with a rich but not spicy meal beforehand.

The Whisky Tasting will be presented by Julia Nourney, an independent expert in spirits. Julia has been offering tastings and seminars for more than 17 years, and in 2007 she was awarded as "whisky-expert" by the Glenfiddich Distillery and the gourmet magazine "der Feinschmecker". She is also a jury member of the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) in London.
