Hello everyone,

I hope all of you are having a great week so far. I know I am especially because of my Driver´s License Experience. I am from Maryland, U.S.A. and I got a big sense of reality yesterday. Because of the state I am from, I may now be required to take a written test and driving test as well as get CPR certified. The application fee for a Drivers License is about 43 € and to translate your German drivers license, it costs about 35 €. The ADAC office which translates Drivers License into German is located at:

ADAC
Ms. Estrella Streitberger
Wiesbadener Straße
Frankfurt (60486)
Telephone: 069-97 78 85-70
E-Mail: frankfurt.west@hth.adac.de
Opening Hours:
Mo. thru Fr.: 9am until 1pm and 2pm until 5:30pm

Here are some additional websites that may answer some of your questions and concerns:

http://www.amcham.de...license.html#11

http://germany.usemb...in_germany.html

http://www.howtogerm...es/driving.html

Also, if you have any additional questions or need any help with finding the ADAC or Driving License office in Frankfurt or need a Driving School, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Have a great day,

Joe

Hi Joe -

I need to take a First Aid Course for my license. Do you know of a place in Frankfurt that teaches the course in English?

Have you tried Jürgen Brauer at Fahrschule Brauer He is a nice guy and can handle all sort of driving school issues in English. His school is in Höchst, not far from the train station.
