Doing Business in Germany

On the surface, it might appear that doing business in Germany is quite similar to the Anglo-Saxon model. But there are many subtle differences that can mean the difference between success and failure for any newcomers working here.

Many expatriates come to Germany largely because of the economic opportunities, or they were transferred here by their companies. Understanding the business culture of Germany is, therefore, something essential to both career success and enjoying life in general here.

Our Featured Event

On Monday 3 April the International Stammtisch features a discussion about The Future of Europe. Our first speaker Nick Jefcoat, chairman of the German-British Society Rhein-Main, will examine the effects of Brexit on the Rhein Main region. Then Klaus Klipp will introduce the new "Europa-Professionell", a non-partisan political organization which brings together friends and supporters of Europe issues.
