My friends and I stumbled across this charming little Apfelwein house while wandering through Sachsenhausen. They are form Britain and proudly boast that the 'Badger' is officially Britain's most dangerous natural predator. 'Dax' is Badger in German.

Very traditional style, complete with tables of elderly ladies enjoying schnapps and apfelwein chasers. The staff spoke very little English so I could not tell if the apfelwein was their 'home brew' but the serving 'bembels' were being replenished in the room behind the bar.

A nice little outdoor area, it was a very relaxing atmosphere and seemed to welcome the visit from 'foreigners'.
