MacGowan's at the eastern end of the Zeil is a tiny pub however is not as overbearing as some of the other Irish pubs in Frankfurt. As it is not an overly large place, a nice enlarged pavement outside gives it extra capacity during warmer times. All Irish and British Sport on TV's and a large collection of whisk(e)y's to sample. On Monday nights you can double your Whisky for an extra €1.50, and on Thursday night's all pints are only €3. Karaoke is offered on a Friday to compete with the other Irish pubs in Frankfurt, and according to their website they also provide free wireless internet for their customers. A bit of a trek from Konstablerwache, but the cold bottle of Bulmers at the end makes up for it.
