Fichtekränzi is as traditional a German bier garten / apfelwein haus as you are likely to find in Frankfurt. Large tables outside can seat approximately 100 guests in the garden, while many more tables inside more than double their capacity. Great German menu with huge servings accompanied by bembels of apfelwein or both dark and light beers, making for a brilliant night out. Over 150 years old, this great little restaurant has a truly authentic atmosphere and very pleasant and helpful staff to make sure you have a great time. Be careful if entering from the front door as oppose to the beer garden at the rear - the front entrance is only a single green door in the corner of a courtyard and can be easily missed (or confused with the kindergarten next door to it). |
