Just off the Fressgasse is another nice German restaurant. Complete with traditional menu, Neuer Volkswirt also offers a large beer garden at it's entrance but even if the weather is not so nice, the interior is still very open and airy. The food is nice and reasonably priced. I would suggest the mixed grill which offers Schnitzel and Wurst and several other tasty treats - definitely one for the carnivores. The service was very friendly and helpful and quiet background music lets you discuss whatever you have on your mind in a pleasant atmosphere enjoying a beer a two.

Directions:
Kleine Hochstraße runs perpendicular between Hochstraße and the Fressgasse so can be accessed by either of these streets.
