We ventured in here during the week one night looking for another Schnitzel-Bratkartoffeln pairing. We were pleasantly surprised that this was so quiet given its proximity to Römer. I think because it is not on the more well-trodden pathways, you kind of have to stumble across it or specifically go and look for it. A nice little beer garden out the front is open quite late - later in the summer the woman was quick to point out, as the city lets them reduce their noise restrictions. Very traditional style menu, and the family staff are very keen to prove their English skills. I really enjoyed it here and the staff were really friendly, even though they presumably deal with tourists day in and day out, it was like we were their first English speaking customers. The food was excellent as well. Great Bratkartoffeln!
