The Snack-Point on Grüneburgweg just off Reuterweg in Frankfurt is promoted as the 'Best Worscht in Town' and always has a lineup of at least 15 people everytime I walk past. The day that my friend and I visited, it had at least 25 people in the queue and a Television Crew.

Initially we were a bit put off by the line, but thought it must be well worth it. The guy running the shop - 'The Godfather of Worscht' - came out and gave a large bottle of Apfelschorle to everyone who was waiting in line to keep us happy. When it comes time to order you have a list of Curry strengths to choose from ranking from A through to F with F being some sort of plutonium strength Curry powder and Sauce.

The Godfather makes sure he warns you about what strength you are ordering and says that if it is too hot to eat he will give you another one of a lesser stregth free of charge until you find one which is suitable.

It really was great service and great food! Nice slices of Bread accompany your Worscht and of course great pommes as well. There is even a ready supply of chocolate milk to help cleanse the mouth of the wrong choice in curry powder strength.

I strongly suggest dropping by to see what the fuss is about.

From Grünebergweg station, walk south till you hit Grünebergweg. Turn right and walk about three blocks (about 5 mins). The Snackpoint is on the left hand side opposite the Post Office.
