Metropolitan School Frankfurt (MSF) is a fully accredited international school offering a comprehensive educational program for students of all nationalities aged 3 - 18 years. MSF was founded in 2007 and is the only International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and Cambridge IGCSE school in the city of Frankfurt that offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme in kindergarten through grade 5, the Cambridge International Education (CIE) program beginning in grade 6 and culminating with the IGCSE exams at the end of grade 10, and the IB Diploma Programme in grades 11 and 12. Currently, MSF has enrolled more than 550 students from 50 countries. All subjects are taught by native speakers, with English as the primary language of instruction. German is offered for native speakers and also as an additional language for beginners and for students of intermediate level, differentiating for all ages. Other additional modern languages include French and Spanish, beginning in grade 6. Primary and secondary students can join extracurricular clubs that offer a wide range of sport and art-related activities. The school day begins at 8:30 am and ends at 3:30 pm, with an Extra Care program before and after school. MSF's facilities include modern classrooms, science and computer labs, as well as a brand new wing opening in September 2017 dedicated to the performing and visual arts. In addition, the school has a modern cafeteria, large sports and assembly hall, an extensive library and a cooking studio that complements additional classrooms in the secondary school.
