National Theater Mannheim
As a theater and opera company, the National Theater Mannheim can look back on a long and illustrious history. Initially founded in 1779, the NTM is considered the world's oldest municipal theater. And in 1782 Friedrich Schiller's first major drama, The Robbers (Die Räuber), was premiered in presence of the playwright himself. Today, the NTM consists of an 1,200-seat opera house, an 800-seat theater for chamber music and drama, and a youth and children's theater. The NTM presents the annual Mozart Summer Festival as well as the International Schiller Festival.

Theater im Pfalzbau
Following an extensive renovation in 2008, the Theater in Pfalzbau in Ludwigshafen opened a modern theater, concert and convention center. The concert hall has a seating capacity for 1,000 patrons and hosts both guest performances as well as in-house productions. In addition, the theater organizes the annual Ludwigshafen music festival.

Thanks to the high number of students in this university town, Heidelberg has a vibrant cultural life. A prime example of this is the Stadttheater Heidelberg, which offers opera, concerts, theater, dance and children's theater. The theater has it own dance ensemble and orchestra, but also offers a wide variety of visiting performances ranging from drama to comedy and more.

Congress Center Rosengarten
The m:con Congress Center Rosengarten Mannheim is well-known for congresses, meetings and events, but it is also a popular location for concerts, stage shows and live acts. Located in the heart of Mannheim, the venue has a variety of rooms and technical equipment for all types of events.

Thanks to the generosity of SAP-founder Dietmar Hopp, the 15,000 seat multi-purpose arena was opened in Mannheim in 2005. The venue is primarily used for sports: Mannheim's beloved Adler ice hockey team and the Rhein-Neckar-Löwen handball team, but is also designed for concerts and conventions. The facility is considered one of the most modern multi-purpose venues in Europe.

With over 60 events per year, the BASF Concert program in Ludwigshafen is one of the most vibrant and strongerse in the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region. Particularly in the area of classical music, the BASF-Feierabendhaus has set high standards for over 90 years. World stars such as Richard Strauß, Yehudi Menuhin, Alfred Brendel, Mstislav Rostropovitch and Anne-Sophie Mutter have performed here. Jazz, pop and world music are now also an important part of the program, with performances from Sonny Rollins, Ornette Coleman, Herbie Hancock, Mariza, Tom Jones and many others.
