Bonn International School Situated on the banks of the Rhine River, the Bonn International School (BIS) is a private, English-language day school currently hosting more than 500 students (ages 3-19) from about 60 countries. The school offers the complete curriculum of the International Baccalaureate Program: the Primary Years Program (PYP) for ages 3 to 11, the Middle Years Program (MYP) for ages 11 to 16 and the IB Diploma Program for ages 16 to 19. The Early Learning section is part of the Primary Years Program and accommodates children from three to five years of age in both half-day and full-day programs. Students who do not speak English as their native language can receive extra help through the school's intensive ESL (English as a Second Language) program. German is offered to all students from the early learning level through grade 12, at both the mother tongue and foreign language levels. Extracurricular activities include sports, music, languages and the Model United Nations. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 22 students.

Our Featured Event

The 2018 Newcomers Festival will be held on Sunday 9 Sept. from 1-6 pm at Frankfurt’s City Hall (Römer). This annual event attracts over 4,000 international visitors, up to 60 exhibitors (companies, clubs, organizations).
