Even if most people, companies and organizations are committed to “gender equality”, the change does not yet seem to have arrived in society. Sexism, especially in connection with a professional hierarchy, is still a problem that women are confronted with.
On the other hand, emancipation is well advanced in our society: women are pilots, artists, athletes, engineers, founders, entrepreneurs or even federal chancellors. That goes without saying today.
What are the main challenges in a – often overheated – debate about gender equality? Do women (and men) have to be “strong”? Where do women stand between disadvantage and emancipation in our society today?
